Does anyone know what sort of warranty Rinker honors on their decks?  I have some rot resulting from a poor sealing job on a top deck hatch and around my railing mounts.

I would be surprised if Rinker would cover the rot issue since the stanchions and bolts may have let the water in.  Generally, boat manufacturer’s cover glass repair if there is delaminating or cracks showing up from structural stress/failure proven by a certified marine surveyor.

In 2002, the Rinker warranty was 5 years.  It has changed to "limited lifetime" in later years... about 2008, I think.

My deck went spongy a couple of years ago near the windscreen as there was water ingress through the wiper arm hole. I assumed the warranty wouldn't have covered that as it is a 2003 boat so picked up the tab for repair myself! Ouch!
