I'll be there Saturday, I think Basa Marine and Starved Rock Marina will have some Rinker's on display.

Well, I returned from the opening day of the Chicago Boat show.  Poor weather out, as a snow storm hit the Chicago land.  The show was comprised of mainly Pontoons and Ski Boats.  I am not impressed with the new ski boats with outlandish towers, speakers and gaudy graphics.  The Rinker 276 was showing great, no Rinker cruisers were around.  The show was actually larger in quantity, but I believe much lower in quality of boats.  The largest and most expensive was a 48' Cruisers Yachts.  Not many cruisers at all were on display.
My vote for best looking boat was a Back-Cove 340
My vote for worst looking was a Bayliner 19' deck boat with tower, ugh.

I invite everyone to go to there local boat shows, if nothing more than to take a look at the others available and realize how good your own boat looks and works.  The new crop of boats are extreamly expensive and much cheaper built.

Amen to that.  No dealer wants to "floorplan" large boats anymore. Way too expensive for the return sales.
