I have a 2007 rinker 250 with mercruiser 5.7 mpi and bravo 3 leg.I have just purchased the boat and rebuilt the motor ,I have found the boat was struggling to get on the plane, when it did get on the plane it went like a rocket.
It got to 48 mph at 5800rpm.The duo props are 22''.does anyone have the same boat and what Prps are You running?or is this the way the boat performs?
cheers Rob

my 08 260 with the same set up had 19's on it from the factory. Pulled out of the water effortlessly and topped out at 41.5 mph on GPS. Would only hit the Rev limit alarm with little weight in boat and a tail wind. So IMO the 19p was perfect.

The 22's are built for speed and the 19's are built for getting out of the hole with a nice top end. The 19's are also good when you have a full tank of gas, water and several adult body's.
I had simular results with my 23' Maxum back in 2002.

Hi !
We had an`03 250 with a 5.0 B3 that came with 22p props and an `06 250 5.0 B3 that came with a 20 P prop set
The `06 came out of the hole better but would come up against the rev limiter easily.I think that in your case anything less than 22`s would be disappointing and tougher on fuel.
Just my 2 cents
