Good morning,
I am looking into purchasing a bilge heater for my 99 FV 270 and want to ensure I get the appropriate size. In my research it would appear a Boatsafe 600W or Xtreme 450W. What would you all recommend as the appropriate size. Anyone have any experience with either brand or preference?

i am putting in a 1000 watt unit in my FV 310. My mechanic said no other brand is an option for what thats worth...good luck
