I own a 1996 232 captiva cuddy and the dash panel is falling apart.  I've been on other forums (old) and see this is a problem for 96.  I contacted Rinker and they no longer have this part.  I contacted Indiana Marine (got this name from another forum). They supposedly make the dash but do not sell to the public.  Has anyone else had this problem and how did you rectify it?  I'm all ears for a fix to this problem.  Thanks   JD

DaleM it was nice talking to you the other day and thanks for all the info. It was in the mid to high 50s here so I continued with the removal of the dash. I got the switch panel out. I'm not sure how to get the steering column out and thats where I stopped.  I just hope I don't bite off more than I can chew.  With my luck I'll do all this and the dash will fall into pieces when I go to remove it.

Anyone know where I can get a used dash panel?  Aren't there any 232's out there that have crashed or damaged beyond repair but still have a good dash panel?
