Hi all,

I was wondering for those of you that have a custom rinker trailer,
what size of winch is on it?
I recently pulled my boat out of the water and had problems
with my manual winch. It is a fulton T3205..3205 lbs...my boat is a 04 FV270..certainly a lot heavier...

Was thinking on putting on an electric winch with a capacity of 9,000 lbs,
since the boat weight would be around 8200lbs (genny, radar arch).
I realize I'm not winching the dead weight of the boat but thought that
3205 lbs was a little small.

Thoughts??

Thanks

Remember, you are not picking up the whole boat, just securing the boat to the winch stand.  A 3,000 lb winch is more than enough.   Al
