I purchased a 98 280 Fiesta Vee back in July of this year and spent the summer enjoying it and fixing the little things along the way. This winter I am going to tackle some of the larger projects and a swim platform is one of them. I have contact  4 different companies and to be honest I am not sold on one particular company at this time, if I could combine a few them to make a platform for me I would be happy, but we know that can't happen. I am hopping to get some feedback from members here, all comments are appreciated. I am looking to hear about companies you have used and if you are please or not.

Thanks in advance.

I too would like to buy an extended swim platform for my 310 FV but have not found any good resource. Have you had any luck?

Hi Guys,

I helped a friend do an install from swimplatforms.com.  They matched the color very well and it looks like it came on the boat.
Swimplatforms.com is out of Phoenix AZ.

I haven't yet, swimplatform.com is the only one that already has a mold for the 280, I have spoke with 4 companies total but the other 3 want me to make a pattern which i am not comfortable with. The down side to swimplatform.com is they rate their platform to hold 600 LBS. I could easily see having close to having 1K lbs on it, when we tie up whoever has the larger platforms usually draw the crowds. My buddy has had 14 people on his platform before.

Makes no sense to even discuss putting 1000 lbs on an aftermarket ESP. To even consider it you would need extensive bracing. An add on platform will always be a weak link vs a moulded platform which is part and parcel to the whole hull. The longer it is the bigger the problem.

A boating buddy with a Bayliner 300 or so has a Swimplatforms.com platform.. and its quite sturdy.  A nice platform, and really helped the usability of the boat.  Its a huge party platform.. and never had issues.

I put a swimplatforms.com deck on my 99 Fiesta Vee and it's the best money I have spent.  My marina put it on without any problems.  It's like putting another room on your boat between kids jumping off of it and for people getting off and on.  All in, I think it cost me $2,300 for the deck and install.  Check out their site, they have pics of installs.  I can put some up of mine to if you want.
