My FV 265 came with a Trailmaster trailer.  I don't think the Trailer was specifically designed for this application.  The boat has a pulpit sticking out of the bow and the forward post on the trailer is so high it makes it difficult to load.  If the boat is too shallow the pulpit will lower as the stern begins to float off the trailer.   This could tear the pulpit completely off the boat if you don't pay very close attention.  It's not any easier loading due to the same issues with the pulpit and trailer.

Has anyone with a similar situation resolved this issue?  I'm considering removing enough of the front post that holds the crank and replacing it with a flat panel of steal to mount a remote operated winch.  This would also make it possible to put and out by yourself.

Hi, Been there with mine. A trailer for my 280. Had to modify the trailer about 4 times,ie...in -out,,,readjust.... Take your time, if you have to adjust the front post, just do it. You won't have a choice if you want the peace of mine.

I I don't modify this thing I'm going to knock that pulpit completely off and do some real damage.
