I hate to do this to you guys back east but could not resist. Spent the weekend
on the boat. Temps were in the low 80's, winds were light and the fishing was
very slow. Guess you can't have it all. I lived my first 30 years in up state NY
so I know what you guys go through each winter. Sure do like California.

i still envy the dana point marina rinker boater and so cal i miss more more but i gotta say, i liked your area too!

No envy here, was out on Boston Harbor Sunday night and went to Jerry Remy's sports bar and grill. It was awesome.......

Sounds real nice Len!  But I gotta tell ya, I love the seasons change here.  Always look forward to the next season.  Had the first fire in the fireplace this past weekend.  & yes, we still made it to the boat as well.  (although I had an oil issue, but that's another story).

Enjoy that weather!  Not sure I could handle upstate NY, but from there to CA is quite the change.

I could do without the season changes here, though, so far the fall weather has been very nice.  Later this week and into the weekend.... no so great.  Just hoping for a mild winter!

More power to you.  grin

One of my neighbors just moved his family to S.F for a 3 year contract. They sneaked away just before winter, argh. I know S.F is a cold hole by CA standards but compared to here it is a major improvement...
