Are you going to sea trial it tomorrow. Please let us know how it goes. The weather is starting to come around and I am sure that you will see that many people will be out very soon

We boat mostly on the Ohio River around SW Indiana. We have to deal with the current, but you can cruise and get away from people. Spring rains & snow melt can raise water levels from 13' above sea level to well over 40'. Plays havoc with marinas & river camps. We enjoy trips to both Kentucky & Barkley Lakes in W. KY, and travel to different lakes in N. TN. The lakes are nice to get away into a secluded cove for overnighters without fighting the current. We trailer our '02 250FV with an '05 Excursion every weekend, but also cruise as much as possible.

I boat on Sebago Lake in Maine. From there you can travel thru the river to Brandy Pond and Long Lake. 20 plus miles of clean, deep water boating works for the family and me.

We boat mostly on Lake's St. Clair and Huron....we keep the boat about 30 minutes from Lake St. Clair and 45 from Lake Huron, both via the St. Clair River.

We spend most of our time on lakes. Merwin Reservoir and Yale Reservoir in Southwest Washington are beautiful lakes right at the base of Mt. St. Helens. We just got back from Lake Shasta in California and next weekend we will be hitting some salt water - The Puget Sound!

I will boat anywhere! However, my 192 Captiva (first boat) is kept in a Marina at Lake Ray Roberts near the DFW area - which is where I try to go every weekend. I have a business in Little Rock and looking to move my boat there next year so I can use more often (plus the lakes are much nicer in Arkansas)- and maybe trade up to a bigger, faster boat.

DFW - Dallas Fort Worth? I lived there growing up, in the Grapevine / Colleyville area. Nice part of the country.

Stockton Lake (southwest Missouri) most of the time. Nice size lake with good camping, but now that we have a bigger boat we plan to spend a little more time on Tablerock Lake.

All saltwater. Keep the boat in a wet slip on the ICW in Daytona Beach. At least once or twice a year we trailer it over to the Gulf and spend a week or two up and down the West Coast of Florida and the Keys.
