Hello boaters,
Was wondering where can you get outdrive support clips for the outdrive so while driving on long trips the drive doesn't fall or damage parts?  Is this a good idea or just leave the outdrive up all the way as I have been doing?  ANy other suggestions or ideas are appreciated.  Mercruiser alpha outdrive for captiva 232.

Here's a link for Overton's:

Back when I had trailer boats, I always used these. The thought process was that if for some reason your hydraulic system failed (leak, etc.) then the loss of pressure on the hydraulic cylinders that hold the drive up would cause the drive to drop and drag as you were speeding down the highway.
