Thought I would share my new bow filler cushion.  It addresses the issue of having an anchor worth a damn that won't fit in the factory location under the forward bow cushion.

I found a plastic tote that fits perfectly in the forward section of the bow.  I then built a "deck" that the two filler cushions sit on.

The deck is not finished in these photos.  It has been clear coated, but not covered.

The two cushions are held down with velcro.  The forward cushion can be removed for access to the tote holding the anchor.

There is still plenty of additional storage aft of the storage tote for our small "kids cooler", life jackets, etc.

Was easy to make.  I cut the wood cushion bases, the cushion foam and supplied the marine vinyl to a local upholstery shop to have the covers sewn.

Transformed the bow to something much more usable.

Looks real nice.  Good job with the carpentry work and your upholstery looks factory in the photo.
