I'm trying to find a solution for holding the fenders on my 232 BR.  The cleats are a pain because of their location and when you're trying to double up dock line and fender line.  I had the Perko Clips on my old boat and they were okay but if for some reason you forgot to take them off before taking off they had a tendency to fall off.  Any suggestions?

If you leave your boat in the water all season attach them to the dock. It sure beats removing them before going for a ride.

I do a lot of cruising to different marinas and was looking for something to be placed on the boat, not on the slip.

i use these clips

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000MJMN4K

they hold on pretty well to the bow rail and the hand rail inside. makes getting it on and off a snap and the cleats on top make it so you can adjust the size for different docks on-the-fly. storing is done in the rear starboard seat.

I use these mounted inside the boat upside-down. They are located just in front of the engine hatch and the walk-thru starboard & port respectfully.

I had these on my previous boat only they were mounted on the outside of the hull.  It was always difficult to reach over and get them hooked.  I never thought about mounting them upside down inside the boat, that's a great idea!
