Anyone know if it would be OK to install something like this http://goo.gl/v6jSc and run it off the pump for my sink? i think the pump is a Johnson. would i just splice into the hose that carries water to the facet? is the pump strong enough?

i boat on the Potomac and sometimes get in the water. it's not the cleanest.

I can't see why you couldn't add that shower to your boat. if you already have a pump on board, just run a Y connector and splice into that water source. The water will be cold though.

Cold and it will go pretty fast too.  The 232 fresh water tank isn't that big.

If it helps, this comes standard on the 246 so I sould imagine it would be no problem for the 232. I have a 10 gallon holding tank and it last pretty long for just rinse offs on the swim platform.

awesome. i'm really excited to get that added functionality.

now, a favor... if anyone is near their boat with a similar setup (stock), could you tell me what size fittings i need to get to split the output into two? or maybe the letters on this tube mean anything to anyone...

mine is in storage and i won't be able to get it for another 3 weeks. but i wanted to have everything purchased and ready to "plug and play"

Based on the picture, I would say it's 1/2 PICs hose and fittings.

That's 1/2" PB (polybutylene) tubing.  They don't make it anymore.  However it's replacement is called Pex tubing and there are adapter fittings available.  Not available at most big box home stores, Lowe's, Home Depot.  Not sure where you live but Menard's does carry it.  Also check with a local RV or mobile home parts supplier.  Pex is used quite extensively in both those industries.
