Figured I'd start prepping for haul-out, so I headed for the boat lunchtime to go get gas and pump-out. Once back on the water (calm, winds @ 3-5, roughly 78 degrees), I figured I'd burn off some of the new fuel - headed north to see if the leaves were changing yet (they weren't), then decided to head south to the George Washington Bridge. The old girl will still do 45 mph, even with a dirty bottom (you dirty girl, you!) Got back into the slip pretty as you please with no help & no drama. Now sitting back with a large rum & coke and just enjoying this perfect day - hope y'all had one too!

Thank you for sharing!  Seattle Tacoma had very nice calm weather today.  But on the Hard...  So I got the buffer out and polished the blue!  I can see myself again!

Good for you!  Did some of that this weekend myself.  Weather in Annapolis area was fabulous!  Got a lot of boat chores done, topped off the gas and got a pump out, then a short cruise to burn a bit of gas.  She is ready to winterize unless we are lucky enough for another weekend like this last one!

Well, the plan was to fill up with gas and pumpout, but decided that can wait a little longer.  We took her out for a little spin, little anchoring, then another spin, and some more anchoring somewhere else.  As Doug said, absolutely perfect in Annapolis!  I think I'll play the same game and see how next weekend is looking ahead at the time on the 10-day forecast before making any decisions.

Glad you all got out and enjoyed it as well!! thumbsup (well, except for boomer)

What a bittersweet weekend.  Sunny and 80 all weeekend.  Stayed on the boat overnight Friday nigh, boated al day Saturday and pulled her out fo the season Sunday.  SWad to call it quits for the year but couldn't have a better last weekend out.   And not too soon either; supposed to drop back to the 50's by weeks end.

A bonus weekend for sure!!!  We actually jumped in for a nice swim un until sunset (I am missing something as a result of the chilly water but I'm sure it will return soon enough).  But, a perfect day nonetheless.  Slept on the boat Sat. night and drove home in time for an afternoon of football.  If my neighbors would have mowed my lawn I'd really have this life thing figured out...

We headed out to Hartmiller Island on Sunday and it was gorgeous out.  Had lunch then headed out for fishing at the mouth of the Bush river.  Caught some big cats out at the 30ft hole.  Flies were biting but besides that it was nice.  A bit sad to see the season ending and winter right around the corner.  Hoping to go out this Sunday as well.
