I just pumped up my auto drain on my 8.1L for the raw water cooling to prepare for cold weather in the slip, and it kept dumping water like it was lake fed...What should I worry about NOW. dont know

You can not drain while in the water,  it will syphon in and sink the boat.   I had a customer about 4 years ago do the same thing in a 282.  The problem was he left the boat while still draining.  And yes is was resting on the bottom at the pier about 3 days later.  The bilge tried to keep up and did so until the batterys ran dead.  Al
