Don't feel bad, I've been thinking about doing the same thing here already.  Was at the boat just for a bit last Sunday, but the weather has gotten crappy pretty quick and too much crap floating in the water from all the rain.  I might try for one or two more weekends and then just say the heck with it and call it done early this year if the weather doesn't change at all.

But, looking back we did some great distances on the boat this year and really got out quite a bit.

Glad you had a good summer up there and hopefully you'll hibernate well! thumbsup

nah....we're planning a cruise up the Little TN River to see the colors on Oct 20th and the annual Lighted Boat Parade on Tellico Lake on 17 Nov. Then it's time to put the baby to bed.

Pulled this past week.  Beat the 60mph winds and at least 23' waves on Lake Michigan.

Ski season!

Sad day for you;   Yesterday was 68 on the Illinois river, hardly any boats out.  Water was smooth, no wind and we took a great 2 hour cruise up river to look at the fall colors, trees just starting to turn.  Like others we fill fight to the end. cheesy

I have been trying to get my boat out of the water for the last 4 days. Wind started blowing here on Erie Friday morning and the waves were 10-14'. The wind sucked 2' or more of water out of the channel area so the water was way low. Yesterday the wind shifted and the water came up close to 2' higher than normal.
I am going to try tonight to get it on the trailer.

I am pulling her on Monday or Tuesday. I need one final "boatgate" this weekend when the Steelers take on the Titans at Heinz Field. It will be a sad day when she is out and in storage.

Go Stillers, N'at

Still not out.  Beautiful weather on the lake so I've been taking the boat out during the week just putzing around. She is going to have a lot of work done on here this winter and I'm creating the parts list.  Since I'm having to pull the dash once again, I'm going for a complete rebuild.  I'm going to make the dash out of holly and teak with some walnut inlay's or something like that.

But in the meantime...
