Are there any Captiva 212's out there with smart tabs installed? If so, what has been your experience? What were the issues that led you to install them and how has it been improved. I am particularly interested in how it improved your ability to stay on plane at lower speeds.

Thanks.

I have installed the Smart Tabs on my 232 CC this year and it has made a noticeable difference in the boat. I was looking at reducing the amount of porpus I was having. I can easily stay on plan at 20 mph, and I have seen great improvements in the ability to get the boat up on plan. Smart Tabs will not do much for correcting list, but it sounds like your looking for improvements in other areas. For the money I think they are a good investment.

I also installed Smart Tabs on my 2000 232 captiva BR with good results.
Very easy to install--took just about an hour
Had a problem with the RPMs speeding up with 4 or more people.
Thought it might have been the prop spinning on the hub but since installing the tabs it has not happened, also a lot easier getting on plane
No brainer for the cost
