So, turned my head (pun not intended) on my 3 year old son. Heard the head flush for a second and then off. Went to see and he told me he had poo'd all by himself. From the smell and look of things, he had done just that. Now the problem. The head doesn't work. I thought maybe it was clogged but I have no light on the vacuflush indicator panel ( green and red). I spent a couple hours unsuccessfully trying to figure out the vacuflush (never have worked on one before) and I am running into a wall. Any help from the board would be greatly appreciated!!

Notes: 2007 300 EC. Breaker switch on. Water pumps into the toilet fine. Press pedal, nothing.

1. Is there a fuse someplace that could have blown? (I'm thinking with the vacuum motor)
2. If it was clogged, wouldn't I have a green light but it just wouldn't work?
3. Where physically is the vacuum generator? It seems to elude me! I assume it's not the shower pump under the mattress beside the AC thru hull?

Any other recommendations would be great. Need the toilet for the admiral to boat.... Desperate times

I'm afraid I can't be much help, but I think if you aren't getting any lights at all (red or green), then there must be a blown breaker someplace, unless the main breaker at the electrical panel is bad.  What I can tell you is that I THINK the vacuflush pump on your boat is behind an access panel on the right side beside the helm station.  I have found it there on other 300ECs, but I am not positive on a 2007.  If it is there, it is not easy to get to or service.  Hope this helps somehow and good luck!

Thanks much. I will look there hopefully tonight. I took the "shelf" off (6 screws) from behind the toilet and the hose from the back of the toilet runs that direction (towards the access panel). It's a big "up hill" to there but i can't see once it goes about 3 feet. Intuitively it would make sense (minus impossible to service) for it to be there. I couldn't find it in the engine room either. Just saw the hose running into the holding tank but the hose runs from that same location down to the tank.

So, how hard is it to remove the fridge? Would that make it easier?

Seems like it has been "unplugged" or blown fuse or something. It is "on" at the panel.

Rinker342. Thanks so much. I removed the fridge and there was the vacuum gen. In case anybody else searches this string. You have to remove the fridge to get to the vacuum gen but it is a really quick Job. Also, in case this happens to someone else, I did not find an inline fuse. I did figure out that it was a coincidence of timing with my son. It appears I pulled the positive wire off when trying to fish cable for a cockpit TV  blush (which turned out quite well).  shades

Anyway, thanks much and for future searches, vacuum gen is behind the fridge. No indicator lights = no power.

Aldo, really dirty back there but I see now where folks are putting the sub... Makes sense.

Glad it worked out for you.  And for others with the same problem, you are talking about the cockpit fridge...... I'm nt sure if all 300ECs have one in the cockpit or if its an option.  Just wanted to clarify that you are not referring to the cabin fridge.
