WHile not all of us are sailboating fans, there is the Canada's Cup race final qualifiers happing currently for the US competitor right here in W. Mich.  This is a one-design race and a neighboring yacht club has a baot in the finals

We were thinking about going to that but the Commodore at our club invited us to some activities this weekend.  We have yet to make it to that side of Michigan and we were looking forward to doing some travel up there this season until I had emergency surgery.  I finally got on the water this past weekend so hopefully it will be enough of that mess.
