Hey - just so I know where I need to focus efforts to get things moving here, how is everybody finding the site? Google? Yahoo? Link on another site?

Some guy named "Ben" got all miffed when someone on the Yahoo group posted about this site then he got madder when Merwin10 and you went in there to say hey.  Last week he erupted with a bunch of shis on a boatus thread.

Oh well

I's unfortunate that some people would rather argue and cause commotion than just talk boats. I've just been doing my best to ignore that kind of thing.

I read his posts / rants and my only response, which I will only post here rather than cluttering up other people forums, is that this site will NEVER cost anybody to use. *IF* at any point I try to recover the money I spend on it, it will be through advertising. Just like Yahoo and most of the other free forums out there.  And that's a big *if* - Primarily because I don't have the motivation or time. Some of us have to work to make the boat payment  :-) And thanks to everybody for coming to the sites defense!

I am usually on Boatered and boating ABC - but never saw the ad - though I have seen Talon.
I finally caught on at boatus.com
