Hey All -

Does anybody else find the RBO server slow to connect at times! Some times it take up to 20 - 30 seconds to connect to! I checked to see if it was on my end and it is not! Other times it acts normal with a fast connection!

Apparently, spammers are sucking up bandwidth.

Mike, it's whatever scheduled utilities Talon had set up before he left -- the mods don't have admin rights to defrag the tables and such.

Hi George -

Yep I know I administer three Boards myself! It is difficult to keep up with! Difference here is I use a remote server that I don't own! So backups are a hit or miss situation! Yes we have allot of spam also even went to a secure code to register and they still get thru! It stop the auto spam but not the human spam! Evertime we come up with a spam filter it works for about a week then it back to normal! Delete, DELete, DELETE some more!

Keep up the great work on keeping this site clean of spam!

Thanks, Mike -- what I really wish is that we had access to even update the filters, software, or do some of the other maintenance aspects. But all of us (Boomer, Dream 'Inn and myself) do what we can!

And we really have to thank the members for alerting us when they've spotted something we've missed! clapping thumbsup
