You have one?  I wish I did!! Guess that's difference b/t the 300 and the 342!! Getting 4 foot-itis here a little bit.

Were your old speakers Clarion? What did you replace your old speakers with?

When I bought my boat it had Kenwood speakers. Four where bad and the dealer installed Clarion but I am now replacing them with JL Audio, two at a time. JL has great sound and if you shop the net you can get decnt pricing.

I just replaced all four cockpit speakers in my 312.   WHAT A DIFFERENCE !!   I replaced the stock clarion speakers with Polk Audio MM6651-UM.  They are 6-1/2" Co-Axial Speakers that run RMS 100watts.   I currently have them running off the stock Kenwood Amplifier that is maybe putting out 35watts RMS and they ROCK !!!

I plan on slowly building a sound system to rock the boat and these speakers were a great choice.   Next will be a few subs and two new amps.   I cant imagine what the Polk Audio Co-Axials will sound like when i get them up to full power.

www.sonicelectronix.com ----  Great Price 144.00/pair.   They litterally arrived in 2 days to virginia and Well worth every penny.

Let me know if you go with them and what you think !

I'm currently looking to replace my Clarion CL1625 stock speakers (all the cones are ruined) on my 2007 320 EC with (6) Polk Audio MM651-UM's but they are too deep for my radar arch, any idea where I can find white spacers? I only have about 2 1/4" of depth. My plan is to run (4) of the speakers off my stock Clarion 4 channel amp and the other two off a new 2 channel amp, each one will be pushed at about 80 watts, hoping it will sound tight and loud!

Hello everyone....

I just purchased a 2002 FV 342....It has infinity speakers with two 10" subs under the Helm seat....I've been told this boat was special built for the VP of Rinker....It does have a pretty sharp black helm....

I just purchased 3 sets of JL's for my 342. I also need 2 spacers for the radar arch, although I only need 1/2 inch spacers.
If you google speaker spacer rings you'll find many options. There were several people selling them on Ebay and there is a place called Earmark Audio out of Texas that has clear speaker spacers that light up with led lights.

i replaced all the speakers on my 310 with jl.  14 total speakers. i recommend enough speaker rings on the arch to keep the speaker away from the arch on the backside. it will cut down on generator noise in the system.
i used lakeside audio on Lake Conroe Tx. They also used the led lighted speaker rings.

Here are a few pics.  We just closed on her this week!  She is a 2002 342.

Talk about twofootidice....This is my fifth boat in 5 years...starting with a 14ft aluminum fishing boat...last one was a 2006 Monterey 270, had that a whopping 10 months!

I have a lot of friends with Rinkers and have never seen a black dash. Pretty cool (or hot in the summer) but I doubt you will ever see another one like it.
