Yeah, I agree with you about the quantity this weekend.  they've been really blasting this site the last couple of days.

I don't know if it would work but possibly putting a bunch of Rinker questions on the profiles to pre-qualify  a poster before allowing them to post here.

You know like what kind of Rinker do you own, have owned or are looking to buy? Some sort of question be required to answer that the answer would have to be valid to qualify. It could be a pain though,  I don't know.

I appreciate Moderators efforts but I bet a lot are taking advantage of the Independence Day holiday except for the un-American Spammers!

No Matter what, you have to have some idiots ruin everything.

Thanks so much, Park Rode.  These must have been really keeping you guys busy this weekend.  They were really hot and heavy, and I  reported a bunch myself.

Any ideas on filters to keep the pests away?  I believe a moderator suggested this?

Please keep up the good work on this terrific site!

There's not much we can do other than manual monitoring until Talon gets back and gives us the keys to the kingdom.  It's been pretty active lately on many sites -- and for every one you guys report (and we appreciate it), we nail about 4 - 6 more making mischief.  We've been averaging about 7 - 8 bans a day -- and other sites are reporting similar silliness.  More if you count the ones we ban proactively.

sorry, as you said I think most of us were out boating.  As Boomer said, we'll try keeping things best we can though.

John, looks like your Firefox session was coming in from Europe / Africa / Asia.  Doesn't seem to be a problem now.  If you could, PM me with the IP addresses for both your IE session and a new  Firefox session that failed.  Don't post the IP addresses to this thread.
Thx!

I will do that. On my iPhone right now. I was out of the country when I first noticed the ban. I was in Isreal. I don't think this was the first time trying to access the forum while abroad.
