Woodkid, how do you use your boat would be helpful to know... For example do you use a lot of full throttle and for how long. BIII's tend to overheat if you go for three hours continuously at 3/4 throttle. High heat will affect the oil and usage too if it is overheating. As for those quick connects at the gimbal ring, if they leak, you will see oil in the bilge. Been there done that.
