One more problem

I am being harassed by problems. My starboard tach is acting up on 2008 330. At idle it is showing rpm's approx 3k to high. At cursing speed it all the way to top of gauge. When I cruised yesterday it did correct itself for a few minutes. Suggestions please?

Sounds like mine, check the ground coming off the back of the tack. you may have some corrosion. Also, check to make sure you "blue" wire isn't corroded. Blue meaning the one for the light. Mine were both corroded so I just fixed both of 'em

If your guages are Faria, you will find that they often stick and often do other stupid stuff. Tapping on them, the well known "Faria tap dance," usually gets them back to reality if this is the case. I do this quite often to get an errant guage back into sanity.
As I often mention, the best thing I did for my guages was to make and use a canvas snap in place helm cover. It keeps the heat load off of them and also dew and rain. I think this addition reduced my problems quite a bit.
One other thing it does quite nicely is to form a glare reducer when running. It turns out you can fold it very effectively and place the folded cover ahead of the helm and cut the glare from the white surface ahead of the helm completely. You just keep the forward snaps in place and it looks quite professional.
