Is anyone else out there getting a little anxious to go boating?

Hoping to take the admiral and the boat out this weekend. Putting all the "seasonal" stuff back on her now....the boat not the admiral.

So the Admiral surprised me last night when she got home...told me " Lets go for a boat ride!" So we took our bella out for a few hours. Chilly and windy but just glad to be on the water.

We're headed out today, the weather is going to be awesome. All no wake but at least I get to start the engines.

Weather has been hit or miss. Either great, hot and sunny or cold an rainy. Had a heck of storm blow through yesterday. The one thing that is a constant is the river is HIGH. Hopefully below flood stage by Tuesday. The good thing is there are no restrictions on No wake status were we are at but with the amount of debris in the water from the flooding it might as well be a No Wake restriction. Oh well, it is still just nisce being out on the water.

Hit the Illinois river on Sunday. Water temp is already at about 76 degrees. It's coming down slowly and debris was not too bad. If the weather is good on 6/11 we'll be on the water again.

The DNR finally lifted the no wake at 11:00 am on Sunday and the river litterally exploded with boats. Near 80's 68 degree water temp and clear. Perfect day!!!

Hoping to be out myself on the 11th. Going through withdrawals!! Although I would have probably been safe dropping her in the middle of the street today we flooded so bad in th area.

Hey Bat, The weather looks tolerable, but the river is supposed to crest at 5' over flood level by 6/11. I was hoping to drop in on Saturday too.

Well Saturday was a bust!!!! I am sick of rain. Even the farmers are sick of rain. Can we get one nice day where is isn't either 50 degrees or over 100 degrees and I want our beaches back. I am sick of flooding!!! Okay, I feel a little better now.

We'll be out on the water all day Saturday 6/25....Looks like it will be a great day. River is finally down to normal and the temp should be perfect.
We'll be up and down the river between Dresden and Marsellies locks!!
I hope to see some of the Rinker clan out there. Let's make some wakes!!!!
