Has anyone had any luck replacing their fuel line from the tank to the filter with a quality line that wont break down due to ethanol?

Yes, MPI or Shields are the best on the market for fuel line.  Both are alcohol resistant and are US Coast Gaurd approved.  Also meet fire resistant for Marine use.  Al
