I can honestly say I have only heard of the fun times down at the Ozarks.   thumbsup  I do want to venture down there someday.  I can only imagine that you can probably get your own sub region set up under Great Lakes/Midwest for you guys.  Can't wait to hear some good stories.

I am down on the LOZ about every weekend or every other weekend.  LOZ can get very busy, very rough, very crazy.  Geniuses with cigar boats think it is cool to run 80+ MPH down the lake with boats and wave runners all over the place. They hit wave runners and don't even know it.

If you are looking for partying, boat up restaurants/bars, etc,  then the North East portion of the lake is the best.  Party cove is up by the state park. Most all the restaurants are up that area also.

My wife and kids generally like to tube and float so we stay down on the Niangua Branch.  It can get rough, but you don't have 'as many' crazies down there since there are not any restaurants or bars.

We keep our 232 cuddy at Kellys Port.  First year in this area as we moved from the 2mm.  Great place so far and we have burned way less fuel this year since we do not need to run very far to find fun.  We boat the state park area and around party cove mostly.  We have been spotted taking in a cold beer at Dog Days.  Lets get together sometime!
